New Build

We created a transitional home and garden for a professional couple, by seamlessly blending Classic European and Modern design styles. The colour palette featured duck egg blue, mocha, taupe and white, which evokes a feeling of serenity as you move through each room. Several elements of this home were designed to balance out the temperature extremes experienced in the Macedon Ranges. They include Hebel concrete walls, upgraded insulation, an elevated reverse cycle heating and cooling system and large double glazed windows. Together they deliver a comfortable interior environment - often without the need for heating or air-conditioning - during several months of the year.

Cloudview’s architecture is highlighted by informal gardens designed for easy living and casual entertaining. Ornamental pear trees and perennial plantings host an abundance of local wildlife, while minimising garden maintenance for the owners. Overall, the indoor-outdoor living spaces ideally complement the beautiful surroundings of the Macedon Ranges.
